Wilson Pereira writes: In a local record shop there are two recordings of

The answer is: (C) Benjamin Zander and the Philharmonia on Telarc 80527.
I reviewed the Rattle recording and liked it very much until I heard
Zander. The Zander recording has it all. It is simply the greates Mahler
9 I have ever heard and that includes Walter, Bernstein and many, many
others.
