I am wondering about the history / background of Richard Wagner's "American
Centennial March" in G of 1876 for the centenary of the USA.  What relation
did Wagner have with America? This work is listed as #110 in Deathridge,
Geck, and Voss's "Wagner Werk-Verzeichnis" (WWV) listing.
