I think that the pacifist example is pretty bad. He would break his own
moral code. I can't think of a moral code in music. The closest you get
to a moral code is defending your favourite composer(s).
To say all of Beethoven is rubbish makes as much sense as the opinion that
all of Beethoven is brilliant. I would support the latter opinion, if any.
