From an article int he Arizona Republic (April 14th):
More than 98 percent of bee colonies discovered in Phoenix house Africanized
bees, Martin said. Common locations: on roof lines, at the bottom of sheds,
in dog houses and on tree branches.
Do AHBs build their nests in the ground (bottom of sheds)? If so, this would
be a sure indicator of an AHB colony vs. a European HB colony.
