As blatant a commercial plug as this is, I just can't avoid letting people
know that an 'almost like this' page already exists on Bee Culture's web
page. Labeled Commercial Honey For Sale, commercial beekeepers have a
listing of what kind of honey they have, color, name, address, phone, fax,
and live email (if available), so buyers can go right to them. It is a
searchable database, so a buyer can look for honey by where it is, what kind
it is, what color it is and the like. We haven't pushed this hard to large
honey buyers yet, but it is in the works. No, it's not an auction page, but
a 1:1 producer:buyer page that does eliminate the middleman. Prices,
shipping, barrel exchance and all the rest are in the details of each
transaction. Looking for some clover honey from Minnesota?
Is there a catch? Yes, there is. The page is supported by the American Honey
Producers Association. You must be a member to post your honey.
