Dear Mary,
There is a dig I am participating in through the University of Iowa that
is looking at Native American concerns with regards to archaeology in
addition to the field school.
The url for the homepage is as follows:
http://www.uiowa.edu/~ainsp/fschool/
There will be American Indian speakers and I believe, visits to
reservations. It looks fascinating, in my opinion. The site dates to about
AD 4000 according to the post I received.
The enrollment is limited to 14, so if your student is interested,
he/she needs to apply asap.
Hope this helps!
Regards,
Emily
