sorry/happy to say i ain't on acra-l - but can you suggest a better (more
effective) way of at least starting to gather some hard data? not just anecdote
and innuendo? there is a problem out there, not just in the states but out here
in europe as well - and i don't see how ostriching our heads in the sands of
time is going to make the problems go away - here in europe the eaa has been
debating codes of ethics, professional organizations, etc. - to some degree we
look to you americans because you've trod these paths before, and have more
experience with solving the kinds of problems we're just now bashing our heads
against - but how widespread is professional dishonesty/incompetence/whatever?
and OK, an internet survey probably isn't going to be the most statistically
valid way of going about doing things, but... can you offer a better solution?
