Manze is quite an artist: so inventive yet true to the music. I've heard
many fine period instrument accounts of Op 6, but Manze is clearly, IMO,
the best: fantastic recorded sound, great ensemble playing, and I felt
that every bar was analyzed in relationship to the rest of the piece.
Even Felix, a tough customer, might find this recording revelatory.
