Technical and vivid.  I agree that Lortie's Beethoven is a few notches
below his Ravel, and I am surprised that Chandos and Lortie continue on
with his Beethoven series.  Whether it sucks or is just okay, there's far
too many great recordings of Beethoven solo works to use up valuable time
listening to Lortie's performances.
