At an early hi-fi show in Philadelphia, when some demonstrators were
clustering 12" speakers on panels in windows to get infinite baffles to go
with their William son amplifiers, Varese's Density 21.5, and Ionization
were played at almost every booth. The booms and tinkles, not to mention
the clanking chains, were almost as effective as the Cook record "How to
speed the parting guest" to demonstrate wide range sound.
