Bernstein had a very good concise list of three considerations he used.
IIRC, two of them are:
-- Does it say something that needs to be said?
-- Does it do so in a way that hasn't been done before?
-- ??? (obviously had to do with the quality of 1&2)
Can anyone help fill in the blank? When I heard Lennie's List (in the car)
on a radio broadcast, it felt very complete to me.
