How right you are, in my case. But there will soon be a time (oh, how very
soon) when my, er, acquisition of new CDs slows to a snail's pace, and I'll
have all the time in the world to go back and hit all the ones I've
neglected (or never heard!).
Intimate knowledge of a piece (of art! not just music!) is very important;
but also a great pleasure to be savored gradually and over time. Else I'd
spend all my days reading 'Ulysses' trying to figure out what the hell...
