I find a Strauss waltz somewhat irritating without visuals. It can be very
effective on film and in person, particularly as a prelude to some terrible
event. Any movies come to mind?

My wife and I will likely take some dancing lessons to get into ballroom
dancing. I think we'll both get much pleasure from it, and opposites need
to seek out those activities which can be well shared. I tried to get her
on the golf course, but Ellen Jane's view is that golf courses and related
facilities are a blot on the landscape which represent our society's lack
of compassion and sense of nature. She's a real cutey pie when she
delivers one of her earth - based pronouncements. Personally, I always
thought that golf courses looked pretty good, but I like to zip through
art galleries as if the air raid siren was activated.
