I've been waiting to find out definitively whether the CDs in question are
in an area of the store which it is reasonable for the casual customer to
assume is freely available to the public, and if this is the case, then,
in the absence of signs forbidding access to them, I'd say Don is quite
justified in taking his business elsewhere.  As Mitch says, if they don't
want you to see them, why do they put them where you can?

I have the greatest difficulty in walking past a CD store because now and
again, someone who works there has accidentally put on display some highly
buyable piece of minor esoterica and I can't bear the thought that I might
miss it.  As one who buys mainly by mail through necessity, I admire Don's
stoicism in doing so by choice.
