Is anyone here familiar with the music lectures presented by Robert
Greenberg of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music on the Great Courses
on Tape series? I seem to recall hearing good things about the music
course, but I don't remember if that was an independent review or if
I am just remembering some earlier promotional material.
I received a flyer in which the 48-lecture course, which covers Western
music from the Ancient World to Schoenberg (stops a little early, I'd say),
is being offered for $150. Is this a good deal? And if you are familiar
with the course, just what does it contain? The literature is a bit vague
on this. It just says it's wonderful. *s*
