I'm curious to know just how amazed you are -- youse at your radio station,
I mean. You see, I'm unshakably convinced that it _is_ CM, and not in any
hybrid sense of the term.
I'm referring to the 6 concertos, the chamber music, the symphonies, the
Hungarian Sketches and so much of that other stuff with and without opus
numbers after the titles -- so much of which I have yet to hear, alas.
I wouldn't quibble with you about the movie music, but that's at least
in part because of the futility of defining of such terms.
I truly don't see how anyone could argue that the SQs -- just to take one
example from about 20 I could produce -- are not CM. But, argumentative
@#$% though I am, I don't really go for such quibbling.
Rather, I write on the off chance that you might, if I begged and
grovelled, send those LPs, cassettes and/or CDs to this Rosza nut? Could
I arrange to have a courier come pick some of them up for me, wherever
you are? Might we negotiate something, maybe privately?
