Has any one heard the Frenchman's traversal of the sonatas (on Erato).
The last cd containing not 30-32 got a very favourable review in the
German magazine Fonoforum.
Btw, I don't agree with Don's view on John O'Conor=B4s Beethoven. I find
his inward, poetic approach very rewarding, His record of 30-32 was my
first Beethoven piano CD. I now have a couple of other interpretations
(Richter, Pollini) but I still enjoy O'Conor a lot.
