That is wierd. I irrationally hate 4. I don't know if it is the bells
at the beginning or the lightweight (not a denigration) tunes but I can't
listen to it for too long. No. 7 is an odd-ball isn't it? I can never
find the right angle (metaphorical) to listen to it at. No. 3 is not
convincingly played for me by Sergerstam. Might be the music... I love
5. I went to see it at the Royal Albert in their Mahler season. Got seats
just behind the orchestra in the choir seats. Any purely orchestral work,
I would definitely sit there again.
Anyway my order would be: 2=8, 5, 1, 6, 3, 9, 7, 4
