The members of this list have been through this debate several times
(so please save all the spamming and flames).

The vast majority of readers find the newsletter useful, so Anita
continues to post it here.  Most of the minority seemed to feel that
they didn't mind deleting it.

If you would like to check the listserve archive, you can find volumes
of discussion on this topic.  I don't think it bears repeating.
