Dear Histarchers,
A key reference for analysis of 19th / 20th cent. glass (I'm told by
multiple informants) is the Parks Canada Glass Glossary (1989) Olive
Jones and Catherine Sullivan. It appears to be out-of-print and
unavailable from any of the sources I have tried: querying publishers
about sources, book finding services, interlibrary loan, no luck so far.
Does anyone know where I might find one of these essential books for
our lab library, or would it be possible to get a copy of someone's copy
(we would be happy to cover costs, shipping, etc.). We have several
hundred bottles & bottle fragments out of a large refuse pit, and really
need this resource.
We are having the similar problems with Fike's Bottle Book;
information leading to acquisition of this title would be most welcome
also.
Thanks in advance for any guidance or assistance in obtaining these
