I don't recall any recent discussion of Haydn piano sonatas performed on
fortepiano or harpsichord. Regardless, there are quite a few of these
recordings; their present availability might not be universal:
Nonesuch - Malcolm Bilson - fortepiano - definitely available.
Amon Ra - Richard Burnett- fortepiano - possibly available.
Glossa - Patrick Cohen - fortepiano - 4 cd's, definitely available.
Auvidis - Patrick Cohen - fortepiano - definitely available.
Gasparo - Shirley Matthews - harp. - definitely available.
Kontrapunkt - L. Mortensen- harp. - possible.
Albany - Lola Odiaga - fortepiano - 6 cd's, definitely available.
DHM - Andreas Staier - fortepiano - possible.
This should afford Bob some fine and lengthy listening.
