Liszt's friendship with the arrogant Wagner was not appreciated by Schumann
and Berlioz.  I guess that Liszt was Wagner's one and only friend, who else
could tolerate W.? FWIR, It seems like Clara Schumann detested Liszt for
some reason (because he was the better pianist?).
