Dan and others yearning for music never written should be careful what they
wish for. Sooner or later, I am sure, some fiends will use the computer to
identify the essential language of each composer and write....well, what
would you like? Nielsen's Seventh? the Sibelius Eighth? The Elgar Fourth?
Schoenberg's opera for children, "The Wind in the Willows?". Cage's long
cantata, "Complete Silence"?
