So now we know that an overwhelming majority of Bostonians and most of
the rest of the CM-aware world are delighted that you-know-who is quitting.
What I haven't heard yet is how the good people of Vienna feel about him
arriving to take charge of their opera.  Are they thrilled? Delighted?
Struck dumb with horror? Fleeing to the hills? Does anyone have contacts
who might give us the inside information?
