I recently obtained the first three volumes of CPE Bach's solo keyboard
works performed by Miklos Spanyi on BIS.  My main interest was the Prussian
Sonatas which are on volumes 1 & 2.

Spanyi uses the clavichord on these volumes, and it has a relatively rich
and smooth sound.  Spanyi performs excellently, capturing well the quirky
dynamic changes and moods that CPE is well noted for.

BIS has also been releasing many volumes of CPE's keyboard concertos.
Are any list members familiar with these recordings?
