I went to the local Towers and they were playing Andreas Bocelli's
crossover album.  It's the most terrible opera recital I've ever heard,
period, but according to the staff there, "It pays well, and my boss likes
it".  It was being snapped up very quickly.  Wonder why they couldn't put
Bjorling or di Stephano or even (gasp) Pavorotti...
