Poor motion pictures are the result of poor collaboration, among other
factors. I don't think that the "motion picture" or "opera" examples are
relevant, because these types of projects REQUIRE collaboration due to the
multiplicity of functions.

Music can and has been written through collaboration/committee. The basic
point I'm trying to make is that when a particular "creative effort" is
viable through either "solo" or "group" means, the superior approach is
to "do it alone." I believe that history supports that view.
