Dave has solved the mystery of what makes # 7 & 10 distinct from Mozart's
other piano concertos. These two concertos tend to get lost in the shuffle
relative to the one-piano concertos. But, I like them very much,
particularly #10 as recorded on DG(Gilels).

The Mozart piano concerto I've been listeing to the most lately is # 24.
The first movement is especially enjoyable, having such an enticing aura
of mystery and mayhem. Try out Frantz on Eurodisc; he brings out these
qualities superbly. Unfortunately, the disc might be out of print. Did
somebody say "Berkshire?"
