Steven Schwartz compares Bach on the piano vs. harpsichord:

Surely you are familiar with Kenneth Gilbert's Bach? I don't particularly
care for the harpsichord either, but I find Gilbert's choice of instrument,
(and the Archiv recordings), very gratifying.
