I know the Brull Piano Concerto No 2 from its first (?) recording on a
Genesis LP. It's yet another in the seemingly inexhaustible supply of C19
piano concertos which half the population of Europe seemed to be writing.
I wouldn't say it's any better or worse than many others of the breed, but
it's certainly worth acquiring. The new version which I heard a few days
ago is, as you might expect, quite an improvement on the Genesis. I know
nothing of #1.
