Donald Satz wrote concerning Musica Antiqua Koln:
>I've mentioned them a few times, because they are a great ensemble.
>Their recordings of Bach's Brandenberg Concertos and Orchestral Suites

Especially the BrandenbUrg concertos are vintage Bach IMO. They play them
*fast* and I like the tempi.
>Concerning Heinichen, MAK did a fine job, but I am not yet convinced of the
>quality of Heinchen's music. But, with the enthusiam expressed by Richard,
>I should give Heinichen a few more plays.
I have their twofer of Heinichen and played it often enough to find this
very pleasurable and competent music without any stroke of genius.
