I have seen one pair of bee glasses. They looked like regular frames, but the
lenses were "frosted", or translucent, except for a small central area about
3/4 inch in diameter.
It was explained to me, that when one wore the glasses , the restricted field
of gaze made it easier to to determine the path of the bees, and hence make
it easier to track the bees back to their hive.
I did not get the chance to try them.
