You must listen to Vesselina Kasarova on RCA Victor Red Seal 09026 68008 2.
She has a wonderful timbre, and a "tone colour" that fit these six Berlioz
songs perfect.  She also sing Sheherazade by Ravel, and Chausson Poeme de
lamour et de la mer.  The orchestra is ORF Symphonieorchester, Pinchas
Steinberg conducting.
