As the lists main John Williams basher, I think it must come as no
surprise that I think that the music for the new Star Wars film was about
as uninspiring and amateurish as possible.  Now, if you would like to hear
who I think should be doing film music, try listening to Lux Aeterna by
Morten Lauridsen.  For those in the KUSC listening area, you will know
that this is a favourite of Jim Svedja and of mine as well.
