A lifetime of listening to heavy metal rock would beat the electrict chair
(as a deterrent, that is), but to keep things classical, a steady diet of
tone-row and aleotoric music--like the proverbial Chinese torture, it may
be tolerated for a while, but in sustained doses, it is quite painfully
leathal.  But most of all, a constant replaying of Chabrier's Espana.
