Don Satz asks a leading question:

OK, I'll bite. I reckon many will have to pick Cage, or Varese, or some
(other) intolerable modern noisemaker...but not me.

Man, I think if you made me listen to Handel oratorio after Handel
oratorio after Handel oratorio I'd go ballistic. How many times can
the same 10 words of text be used for one 15 minute aria? [I'm so
pretty...I'm so pre--heee-he--hee-hhee-tty...I'm soo-ooo--ooo-ooo
pre--he--heee-hee-hee--tty.....ad naseum] Ugh. I'd sooner listen to Cage
anyday, or even the complete works of KH "The Alien" Stockhausen.!! At
least it -changes-. Jeez.

Bob K.--going back to see Star Wars again.
