I would agree whole-heartedly.  I heard Hough play the sonata last year
in one of the most exciting and memorable recitals in years.  I thought
his mixture of passion and control to be superb and his technique is
phenomenal.  I eagerly await the CD.  Here is one of the contenders for
one of this generation's great pianists.
