For years I have been partial toward Haitink/Alexander on Philips.  Haitink
also has another version on Philips with McNair which is almost as good.
What I like greatly about Haitink in this work is how he builds toward the
climaxes and brings out the "youth" of the work.  Also, I find Alexander's
voice just perfect for the 4th movement.  At least I think it's Alexander;
I don't have access to any references at the moment.
