A couple of years ago Ingo Metzmacher conducted the American premiere of
the Hartmann 3rd Symphony in St.  Louis.  Most of the talk that I heard at
intermission was that "Mozart [whose 27th concerto was to be heard after
intermission] is probably more my speed." Sad.
