The former USSR is a big place (Russia being just one of the countries) and
isn't it a bit much to assume that the new super bees are already widely
distributed throughout the region and Varroa eliminated?
I doubt that any single approach to Varroa will be sufficient in the short
term, be it genetic, chemical, heat, trapping or ??. I do have an open mind
about possible alternative treatments.
