My only encounter with an Oxana Yablonskaya performance (and a darn good
encounter that was!) was when she took on Prokofiev's 5th Concerto with
the Singapore Symphony Orchestra slightly under a decade ago.  Effortless
virtuosity, poise, incredible stature, and, best of all, among the wittiest
Prokofiev playing I've ever heard 'live'.
