I certainly sympathize with these sentiments. But, on the other hand, if
the folks at the controls are reasonably sophisticated (granted, this seems
to be less and less likely these days), one is still often surprised by
hearing things one would never choose for oneself, but which turn out to be
better than one would have expected. And the Net and related technology
are making one's geographical location less and less of a limitation.
