Aaron Rabushka:

>As I recall each of the composers of Les Six was asked to contribute to
>"Les Nouveaux Maries de la Tour Eiffel" (sp?) and four of them accepted.
>I've heard a recording of two movements of Poulenc and they seemed to be
>delightful audio slapstick.

The movements (with composers) of Les Maries are:

Auric - Ouverture (Le 14 Luillet)
Milhaud - Marche Nuptiale
Poulenc - Discours du General
Poulenc - La Baigneuse de Trouville (Carte postale en couleurs)
Milhaud - Fugue du Massacre
Tailleferre - Valse des Depeches
Honegger - Marche Funebre
Tailleferre - Quadrille (Pantalon - Ete - Poule - Pastourelle - Final)
Auric - Ritournelles
Milhaud - Sortie de la Noce

So it's five of Les Six. Durey was the only one who never entered the
project.
