I see several mentions of J Martin Kraus, and I wanted to recommend
something to the Kraus nuts on the list; If you like Kraus, it would be
very interesting for you to explore the music of Johann Gottlieb Naumann,
who actually was a finer composer than Kraus, his opera "Gustaf Vasa",
which was the peak of the Gustavian music, can be found on Virgin
Classics...a very well done work - highly recommendable. Of course there
are other Gustavians too: Grensners "Sinfonia alla posta" (Posthorn
symphony) is very fun.
