I first heard the Rach 2nd symphony played by the Philharmonia Orchestra
under Kurt Sanderling (Teldec).  It has since become one of my most
treasured CDs - full of passion and extremely moving.  I recently added
the Ashkenazy/Concertgebouw Orchestra recording to my collection (got a
Decca-authorised "Made in Taiwan" version), but have a preference for
Sanderling's.  I would love to get Rozhdestvensky's recording with the
LSO on IMP classics.  Unfortunately this label is no longer available
in Singapore.
