I heard that there was a CD-ROM by some quite a reputable name, Dorling
Kindersley or someone like that, but cannot say for sure. I can say for
sure that there was a CD-ROM dedicated to Great Operas, I think it was made
in france. There were also quite a few CD-ROM dedicated to particular
composers or a group of composers by The Learning Company of the US and
Dorling Kindersley of the UK. I know for sure that Moscow Conservatory is
developing and nearly finished CD-ROMs on Modest Mussorgsky and Alexander
Scriabin.
You can find most of them on www.cdaccess.com and other sites
(amazon.com has got some but not very good selection, I think).
Do you think CD-ROMs are popular/interesting to wide circles of classical
music lovers?
