After reading a few reviews of Hyperion's recording of Paderewski's
symphony in B minor, there does not appear to be a consensus concerning the
quality of the work.  I appeal to list members to "tip the balance" one way
or the other.

Is the Paderewski symphony just a mediocre late romantic work or an example
of the excellence of late romantic compositions? How does it compare with
the Zemlinsky symphonies?
