I was under the impression critic and fool were exactly the same word??
Neville Cardus and a Small Few excluded I met him Once = Very impressed??
Brisbane had a "Critic" who was appointed as he was an English Doctor
of Music (Oxon - suspect) = the Only snags were:- One, he was 20 Years
"past his best"; Two, he was "deaf in one ear"; Three, he could only get
comfortable in the rear row of seats upstairs where there was more space
the Less than Ideal spot to listen?? & Four, Nobody had the "Heart" to ask
the Venerable Old Gent to graciously retire and he died in the Job about
85?? I'd go to a Concert; then next Morn wonder if he and I were @ the same
one??
