Ray may well be correct in his assumptions. However, I don't think that
Gelb has any interest in possessing this knowledge, because it is not
germane to his plans which are to create a new classical audience which
is much bigger than the current one.

It's hard to project what impact Gelb will have on Sony in the long-term.
For the short-term, I think that his impact will be profitable for Sony.
Again, I think that we tend to underestimate this man's vision for the
future. It's one of greater profit and new/bigger audience. For what it's
worth, my guess is that he will be as successful as he envisions - that's
success for him and Sony. It won't do me or many others on this list a bit
of good.
