For the 6th Symphony, either Bruno Walter, with the Columbia Symphony
Orchestra, or Bohm with the Vienna Philharmonic.  I prefer the former
as sweeter, although the Bohm has immense charm.

You should also hear the Liszt piano transcription of the 6th by Katsaris
on Teldec.
